I was out trying to level Koss with my W/mo the other night and in experimenting with builds, I decided to give him life bond for some reason. However there was a problem... I couldn't get him to cast it on me and maintain it until I was already in battle. He'd cast it beforehand, but the instant it was done, he'd stop maintaining it. I've noticed this with some other maintained enchantments at other times as well, and I'd like to request that ANet make heroes maintain their enchantments, both in and out of battle, when they are ordered to cast them.

There is a way for Heros to use maintained enchantments, but you need to cast them yourself.

Use Shift+mouse to click on a heros enchantment in his skill bar. This should put a red circle witha line through it over the skill.
The hero can no longer use that skill but you can still activate it using his skill bar.
Maintained enchantments used this way will remain as long as the hero has energy.
The reason Heros can use maintained enchants on there own is due to the energy managment of the AI.

My problem isn't so much them using it, but them *not* maintaining it when I tell them to use it. I had Koss try to cast the spell 3 times out of battle the other night, and he cast it each time, but he wouldn't keep it maintained until we got into a fight. If this is an AI problem I'd like to see it fixed; when they are ordered to cast a maintained spell, they should keep it up.
